01 · The chart is read first
In Jyotish practice, a birth chart is interpreted from birth details shared privately with a practitioner. The reading considers relationships among grahas and the wider chart rather than selecting a stone from a short quiz or a general sun sign.
IshaRa does not automate this step. Initial contact establishes the consultation, and sensitive chart details are arranged directly after that contact.

02 · The ratna conversation follows
If a gemstone is discussed after the reading, the conversation includes material identity, treatment, durability, wearing context and setting. A traditional name such as Neelam or Panna does not replace a gemological description.
The person may also decide not to proceed with a piece. Consultation is not a sales mechanism, and no chart interpretation makes a particular purchase inevitable.
03 · Material evidence remains essential
A sapphire associated with a graha can still be natural, synthetic, heated, diffused, filled or assembled. Those material facts exist independently of cultural interpretation and should be disclosed plainly.
The setting must suit the actual gem. Hardness, fractures, treatment and daily wear determine how the bench protects it, regardless of the symbolic role discussed in consultation.
04 · Respect includes limits
Kundali consultation is cultural and consultative. It does not diagnose illness, replace professional advice or promise change in health, finances, relationships or any other outcome.
The value of the process lies in careful listening, transparent material information and a piece made only after both are understood.
